Yesterday at Prada we were drooling over the wet haired/red lipped-ladies who could have walked off Paramount's Sunset Boulevard set circa 1950.
It was as dark as it was wearable.

Suited 50's silhouettes and punk rubber-soled shoes marched in front of an abstract, film noir set – a revisit of Prada's earlier menswear presentation.
"A mix of rich and poor," Mrs Prada told us. It was also a perfect balance of darkness and happiness. How does she pull that off?
It may not have been as esoteric as her last collection, but Miuccia proves time and time again (and again) that she is one step ahead in this game. A/W 13 was all about the look; the clothes; the dream. And it all felt very real. Strange yet real.
