With our offices so close to Savile Row, we’re always running up and down the famous street watching men pass by in their beautiful custom-made suits. But while bespoke quality may have left us jealous in the past, I am happy to announce that ladies, it is now our turn!

This month Selfridges will be hosting its second installment of the L’Atelier

12

Repetto bespoke project, giving us the opportunity to design our own classic Repetto BB pumps, however you see fit!

We’re talking 250 different shades of lambskin and an endless choice of borders and ribbons to really give your shoes an individual touch. After you’ve mixed and matched colour and fabric to design the perfect ballerina, your creation will be shipped off to the brand’s l’atelier in France to be built at the highest quality standard.

Originally made famous by Brigitte Bardot, the iconic Repetto BB pump was created in 1956, when the actress asked Rose Repetto to design her a shoe for the street that was as comfortable as a ballerina slipper. From that moment, the classic BB pump has sold over a million pairs. We’re totally dreaming up all the possible leather/colour combos for our new pair.

The project will run from 10 July – 10 September 2012 at Selfridges.
