Yesterday I hopped over to Dover Street Market for the 2nd of their Bi-annual Tachiagari’s. For three days, twice a year, Dover Street Market shuts its doors and is given a makeover by the likes of Phoebe Philo and Alber Elbaz (sounds like your perfect night in right?) Walls are knocked down, furniture is re-built, and designers are welcomed to update the space in which their clothes are displayed.

Among the changes perhaps the most striking is Matt Clark's window installation, 'Ship Of Fools', a life size fishing boat in the shops ground floor window. Phoebe Philo magically enlarged Celine's space and painted a display wall baby pink which left me yearning for my childhood bedroom. Michael Costiff’s injected an unlikely burst of colour into his new World Archive space, 'Aesthetic Excess', and Stephen Jones displayed his millinery creations on a beautiful white dressing table. The change not only welcomes the new collections- in this case A/W 12- but also ensures that the iconic shop is, as always, one step ahead and ever changing.
