Today's Pop is Alice, wishing it was winter (even though it practically is).

Whenever it's winter, I'm constantly dreaming of bare legs, calypo's and drinking rum punch in my garden; as soon as summer rolls round I'm craving mince pies, humming Christmas Carols and missing the feeling of tights and wooly jumpers. Collier Schorr and David Benjamin Sherry's short film for Y-3, 'Beneath, Between, Beyond' is not helping my mid-summer-winter craving either. The over riding feeling of practicality and nature in Y-3's A/W 11 collection is reflected beautifully in Schorr and Sherry's shots of dusty mountains and barren landscapes. The layering of these bleak landscapes with close up shots of garment details and models rolling on the floor has a strong similarity to Collier Schorr's collage for Arena Homme + S/S 11, which juxtaposes images of models in clean white shirts with newspaper clippings of the Gaza War.
