Today’s POP is Stephanie.  Stephanie needs a reason to wear BLK Denim’s grey pinstripe suit.

After injecting major cool into Justin Timberlake's label Wiliam Rast, Swedish-born fashion designer and entrepreneur Johan Lindeberg has taken on a new project: BLK Denim. We were fortunate enough to get a sneak peek at the mens and womenswear label’s second collection.

Johan took us through each piece of BLK Denim's Autumn/Winter line-up as well as what’s new for the brand, which at the moment is only available online. Lindeberg is planning BLK Denim pop-up shops to open in New York, London & Stockholm that will coincide with each city’s respective fashion week.  But wait, he’s not finished yet…

Along with the clothes, the BLK Denim shops will distribute a free publication in the form of a poster-size newspaper called the Gazette.  This publication acts purely as a platform for artists to display new and previous works, which resonate with the urban ethos of the brand; each work printed as an individual poster. Contributors include Peter Lindeberg, Nate Loweman, Waris Ahluwalia and Wes Anderson.  Donations will be able to be made to the publication through a ‘pay-what-you-want’ system and all proceeds will go to

Largely inspired by his New York City environment and Fever Ray’s “When I grow Up”, the new collection is exactly what we want to wear right now. The focus of the brand lies in three places: tailoring, denim and killer leather jackets.  He’s created the perfect blazer, cashmere jumper and scoop neck t-shirt for men and women. We rushed back to the office immediately after meeting Johan to place our first online order.

Along with our fabulous blackberry snaps, here’s a sneak peek at the collection in the

latest fashion film from Lindeberg’s BLK Denim.
