Today’s POP is Stephanie. Stephanie’s been keeping tabs on Daphne Guinness’ new dressing room; also known as the Barneys’ windows on Madison Avenue.
Guinness has collaborated with Barneys’ to display her extensive fashion archive through various performances (starring the heiress herself), a short film and a changing installation at street level.

The collaboration is in communication with the current Alexander McQueen retrospective “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” at the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

To kick-start the six-week window display, Guinness got behind the glass Monday evening preparing herself, quite literally, for the Costume Institute’s annual Gala. Think rush hour in Manhattan. Ms. Guinness performed her “Muse getting dressed” as she clothed herself in a full-feathered McQueen.
…how extremely inappropriate and appropriate at the same time.
