YSL menswear has never looked so good… And to put the icing on the (tres Anglais) cake, Stefano Pilati invited Friends Of POP, The XX, to the show.

Romy Madley Croft looked fantastic in perfect blue / black Saint Laurent matched with her trademark Camden Market brothel creepers… while Pilati showed a Camdenesque yet decidedly chic Brit Heritage dream.

"We're still writing this second album," says Romy. "We're taking our time, but we're having fun… We've never got to do the Paris fashion shows before."

So with no new XX to play (and with LCD Soundsystem reserved for the womenswear), Pilati treated us to the new PJ Harvey record… The man's taste gets more and more refined it seems.
