Okay, much discussion in the ranks… How could we have forgotten Warpaint's "Billie Holiday" already? Surely the match of anything on the XX album and a classy constant at POP Towers the past 10 months…
All breathy vocals and a killer steal from "My Guy", in truth we forgot this one because Warpaint have since released a full album on Rough Trade which didn't quite knock us over like that debut EP…
"Billie Holiday" is still ruling the floor here though (witness picture). Pop justice for all pop bitches. Pop Matters. Just download it asap as a Christmas present to yourself. Boom.
