'I have Dalinian thought: the one thing the world will never have enough of is the outrageous.' – Salvador Dalí.

The worlds most acclaimed Surrealist, Salvador Dalí, is being celebrated in London's artistically renowned throbbing pulse of Mayfair. The curators Beniamino Levi and Enrique Sabater y Bonany have delved into private collections around the world to bring together a passionate collection of forty Dali works that have been hidden away for many years…

These exceptionally rare masterpieces range from watercolours, sculptures, paintings and sketches. A fabulous splash of adrenaline sets in when I hear that my personal favourite; Dali's 1933 Buste de femme will be on display. This beautifully hand-painted milliners bust, customised with inkwells, beading, bread and corn and crawling with ants is the ideal memento of 1930s surrealism.

An innovative flashback to the pioneering surrealist who shocked thousands worldwide, this is an event not to be missed this month.

The Unseen Dalí: Drawings, Paintings, Sculptures, is at Modern Masters Gallery until February 28. For further information www.modernmastersgallery.com
