Today's POP is Daniel, enjoying the British strawberries.

Emerge might've been a big hit with that almost forgotten band from the electroclash era, Fischerspooner. But don't let that stop you from enjoying the namesake initiative from Topshop, celebrating small, emerging designers from all over the world.

Topshop EMERGE collects ten international designers who are not available anywhere else in the UK. They all make fashion-forward clothes rather than basics and show there is a lot of creativity and talent out there just waiting to be discovered. Each month, starting in September, two of them will be available in the Topshop Oxford Circus store as well as online at Topshop.com.

EMERGE is Topshop's way of showing they are supporting non-UK labels as well, a sort of international answer to Topshop's NEWGEN support for British designers. Small labels need all the support they can get, especially when they create fashion who are interesting and fun and idealistic. In summary: Applause and general celebratory mood!

Here are a few of our favourites:

Australian label TV. Available in November.

Les Heal, from France. Available in October.

Diana Orving, Sweden. Available in December.

German label Reality Studio. Available in December.

KTZ, by the Macedonians Marjan Pejoski and Sasko Bezovski. Available in September.

Starstyling, also from Germany. Available in October.
