POP 297 Monday 24 May 2010
Today's POP is Max, saying yowsah yowsah yowsah!

Last weekend saw the amazing Tate Modern celebrate its 10th birthday, and one of the many, many, many projects taking place over a weekend littered with events and happenings was a performance by London dance group The Cholmondeleys entitled Quicksilver.
Working with a whole range of participants, the Quicksilver project introduced the idea of interacting with the gallery space at Tate Modern using rehearsed dance routines that flashed up throughout the day unannounced, both inside the gallery and outside too. Cue some very confused but utterly entranced gallery-goers and some incredible dance and art work juxtapositions, YES!
Big thank you to Laura and Susan at Tate Modern, Kerry and Nana at Nike for the support and trainers and to Jack Day for the photos. (Especially of THE DOG IN A PRAM!!!)
