Today’s POP is Isabelle, who cannot wait for her great escape from great metropolis life.
Although it is still raining today here in London, I promise you the sun will shine. So when PRADA sent us this little audio tale, introducing their Postcards Sunglasses line, I thought I gotta share it, hoping and awaiting tomorrow’s sun. The Postcard glasses are available in six tones, each dedicated to a metropolis city and its twin escape – my favorite: Los Angeles and its escape to Santa Monica… Oh I daydream of a sun-kissed life after POP!

There was my Riviera love
peering at me over dark glasses.
a mixture of dreamy childishness
and insidious intent.
A brash coquette. Bold and shy.
She talked about this and that.
Only half listening, I watched….
We were at the seaside
Water the color of a cloudy bottle.
Maybe Forte dei Marmi or Montauk,
Biarritz or Setùbal.
Under the cliffs of Cornwall or
sprawled on the sands of the endless Pacific with Santa Monica….
A faded postcard is my sacred relic.
