Today’s Pop is Max. He spent New Year’s Eve in an hotel VERY similar to the Linton Travel Tavern, you know, where Alan Partridge stayed. Right down to the tiny soap and Corby trouser press. We’re jealous.

Although we’re in the middle of turning in the issue, he’s found the time to give us his personal top three fashion moments of the decade. Can’t decide whether that is a good or bad thing.

TOP THREE FASHION MOMENTS OF THE DECADE

1. Helmut Lang being incredible, then leaving his label, and now realising each and every season how important each and every one of his collections was. Can’t name a favourite because they were all so good, but at the moment I keep looking at this particular collection, A/W 2003-4;

2. David Beckham by Steven Klein and Karl Templer for Arena Homme Plus A/W 00/01. Because it’s David Beckham and Steven Klein and Karl Templer and Arena Homme Plus. Durrr!

3. New Order Brixton Academy 2005. Because they were amazing, because it was the last time I got to see them, because the crowd was mental, because they shouldn’t of been any good but they were, because they played all my favourite songs including ‘Your Silent Face’, because they dance like my dad, because I bloody love them.
