Today’s Pop is Max. He’s like the Energizer Bunny – so active he’s already done with Christmas and is now busy preparing for Easter.

We bloody love a man in a skirt over here at POP. Mix in a heady sense of nostalgia, one of the best couples of all time, and the fact BECKHAM WAS WEARING A SARONG, means we came over all funny when we discovered this original Gaultier sarong a few weeks back and then looked up said infamous image from 1998.

The Gaultier sarong pictured comes from the archives of Philip Browne’s menswear shop in Norwich, complete with tags and all. Philip was the first UK stockist of Vivienne Westwood outside London in the early 90′s, and has since sold Helmut Lang, W&LT, and Gaultier, not to mention both John Galliano and Alexander McQueen’s first menswear collections. All in Norwich. Fashion with a capital F or what???!!!

We’ve attached some additional amazing archive pieces from Philip’s collection. Check out the W&LT fancy pants!!!
