You would have to be living in a cave not to notice that the sought-after jacket this summer is the leather biker kind.


The style we are most smitten with is

Acne’s ‘Rita’ jacket which is part of their new eight piece capsule

collection. They pay homage to the classic shape of the biker jacket, but give it a contemporary twist with a shrunken fit in super soft leather. These little jackets are the only thing we want to be wearing this summer.


Acne’s Creative Director, Jonny Johansson says, “The biker jacket is such a classic, iconic piece that we seem to always work with. This season’s inspiration for the women’s collection comes from an imagined eccentric gallery owner in Berlin.”

And we couldn’t mention biker jackets without including the two smokin’ screen icons, Marlon Brando and James Dean, who totally rocked the leather look to perfection back in the 1950′s.
