Sharma says:

"Soooooo, anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE nails! But what people don’t know is that I HATE getting them done, its so boring! You sit there for an hour or so just not talking, you can’t read a book or listen to music…some salons have TV in them now but that is hit and miss. I used to put off getting my nails done for as long as possible as I just found the whole thing tiresome. So what better way to please myself and expand the WAH brand than by opening my own nail salon?!!"

"Yep, this is the first pic of my own new WAH nail bar in Dalston. We’re actually gonna have a fully fledged WAH HQ, with WAH Nails salon upstairs and WAH Magazine office in the basement, catering for all WAH girls as well as the local Dalstonites. You’ll be able to listen to tunes, browse our amazing shop, chat to young enthusiatic nail technicians precisely about your treatment and proper nailcare, have a cocktail on the weekend and generally just hang out with a bunch of cool girls in the heart of East London. Best of all – whatever you want on your nails – we will make it happen!"

Hanna says:

"This is not just a Versace lighter. It is Donatella Versace’s lighter, the one she gave me yesterday in Milano. She entered the room and immediately someone brought her a packet of cigarettes on a beautiful tray. I said, ‘oh, can I ponce a fag off you, Donatella?’"

"When we parted, Donatella said, ‘you must smoke more’ and she handed me her lighter as a goodbye gift. I love her for that. The best part is that inside its spangly case is a peach-coloured mini bic, perhaps a metaphor for life itself? I am going to consult Donatella’s Lighter in times of need as if it were a rune or oracle."

"Today I put Donatella’s Lighter next to the lucky vintage Versace ashtray I use at home and I began composing a more complex still-life photographic piece. This could take some months. I am working on a suitable title. I am smoking more Donatella x"
